Blue light glasses, What's all the fuss?
Sleep.. We all need it, some just a few hours, others a lot more.
It isn’t all about the time we spend sleeping it’s the quality of that sleep that matters most.
Sleep cycles come in stages throughout the night and in order to get the best out of our forty winks we need to make sure we are doing everything we can to maximise our sleep quality.
That can be achieved through ‘bedtime hygiene’ an odd term that makes a lot of sense when we boil it down, how many of us have a coffee or tea after 7,8 or 9pm? How many check our phones late at night or even while in bed? How many sit and watch our fave tv programme before we go up to bed?
Quite a few I imagine! Now it isn’t a case of stopping these habits but finding a way to make sure they don’t affect our sleep is key. Blue light glasses are making a big impact and for good reason, simply put they aim to block out blue light that is found in our televisions, mobiles and even certain light bulbs.
